Sets us apart from whom? Because, we are pretty sure you’ve noticed that we are somewhere between a think-tank, a not-for-profit, a research institution, an design-thinking collective and maybe something else you’ve thought about!
You’re not wrong. We have created this entire adventure as a rebellion against the established order of #PublicPolicyResearch. We want to help bring value to citizens and we believe in the power of research & knowledge to transform the world.
KnowPolicy was created to bring the two together: Conducting #research in all its possible forms to help improve the lives of citizens from across the Global South.

We mean it when we say it is "Evidence-based"
We want to be a conduit for evidence-based policy making and implementation. So even when our reports are short and sweet, we'll always have a slightly intimidating appendix to show the evidence.
We will always advocate for field work and stakeholder engagement
We do not believe that policies or interventions are created out of thin air. We also do not believe that knowledge is only found in books and articles. Fieldwork in the form of workshops & interviews. That is what we want to see more of.
