We are a group of researchers, creatives and academics looking to disrupt public policy research across the Global South.

Our Mission

Government accountability in the delivery of essential services and rights-based policy work is at the heart of what we do.

We work with governments, civil society groups, NGOs and the private sector to re-design services around citizen needs and demands. This is accomplished through direct engagements, user-centered design, research, advocacy and capacity development efforts in which we work alongside a diverse range of partners. We believe in co-designing and co-creating better policies, for the voices and needs of all to be taken into account.

Public Policy for equity, across the Global South.

That is what we strive for.

  • Interdisciplinary

We are here to break silo-thinking that we believe has led to poor decision-making in the realm of policy. We are in essence interdisciplinary, ensuring generalists and specialists work together on all our projects.

  • Rights-Based

Our work, regardless of who our counterparts are, always takes a rights-based approach to policy-making and project development. We believe in helping secure citizens’ social rights be it through our advocacy work, capacity building or research and advisory.

  • Eco-Feminist

Our work advocates for a shift away from damaging neoliberal policies across the Global South, towards inclusive, gender-conscious and climate-responsive policies, regardless of the sector. We often work from an intersectional, eco-feminist perspective on matters of social policy.
